Over the past few months, I have occasionally alluded to being a little more stressed out than usual… The proportion of crafting, and in particular cross stitch, has increased to compensate as I do love a bit of therapeutic stitching!
One of the crafty things I’ve been up to is this little guy from CrossStitcher Magazine Issue 262:
It is stitched on 14 count plastic canvas, then trimmed. To make it into a bookmark I simply then mounted it on some felt, and a giant paper clip:
So back to the big news…… well here it is:
Mr M has a new job.
His new job will be based in Santa Clara, CA.
Yup. That’s right. That place thousands of miles away.
We’re moving to California! Yikes!
The past few months have been full of paperwork and craziness, we visited the US Embassy in London last week and had our interview for our visa, which was granted, and arrived this week!
The next couple of months before we move are also going to be pretty hectic, but I better make the most of my sewing machine and stuff before it disappears into a container for 2 months, and of course one of the important questions from now on is container,case, or chuck?
