More secretive work, although when it’s not a secret from Andrew it’s much easier!
It’s a special little lady’s 2nd birthday today, so I decided to make her a little dress for a present. The pattern is from a great book called 101 fabric by fabric ways to sew a metre, which is full of lots of different fun little projects (I have so many that I want to make!).
It has an elasticated neck, bias bound underarm edges, and two cute little pockets on the front. This is the smallest size, but the book has templates all the way up to age 6, in this, and other patterns.
Of course I finished it off with a little tag inside:
I also made a second dress for another little one. It was our friend’s 10th wedding anniversary, and they had a little open house get together to celebrate. I went bearing gifts of a dress for their little girl, a Rhubarb and Ginger cake, and a pot of sourdough starter. Who wants a traditional gift hey? ;o)
