This weekend has been a lazy weekend. I think it was due after a hectic week, but I did make an effort on Saturday morning to make Mr M a new shirt.

It is another Colette Negroni, made using the exact same pieces that I had already adjusted for his previous shirts here. I made the effort to match the pattern for the pocket:

…..but otherwise the side seams and centre front is lined up, but not completely matched as……. nobody got time for that!

Mr M even posed for a couple of pictures in the hallway:

We managed to snap a quick his and hers shot outside the gate on my phone:

The stadium looked great, they made the whole field into a celebration of all things California – fake Pacific, fake Redwoods, and fake Sierras:

..and we had a great view from the “cheap” seats!

Unfortunately the shiny new shirt didn’t seem to bring them any luck.

But we had a good time, interval entertainment from John Fogerty and Melissa Etheridge, and cosy jackets and hats!
