The last of the birds! I am now up to date and ready for the Parrot of next month’s issue of CrossStitcher.

I have to say, I don’t like this one, and the Seagull as much as the other ones, I prefer the bright colours of the bluebird, and lovebird, and budgie.

I finished the hoop this time around, with strips of the orange silk I used for the lining of the Hana bag. That stuff really is the gift that keeps on giving!

I need me some more nails now!

Oh and yesterday a friend of mine from all the way back to Acklam Whin Primary School arrived for a quick stop off on her road trip holiday. We fully embraced home town-ness and went to see Maximo Park! All those North-East accents. It felt like I was back home 🙂

      I have been loving these birds! It’s been kinda nice to have a little quick stitching project, rather than the big ones that take months. Although I do have plans for a big one soon!
